How to properly measure your hand for the perfect glove size
For your new work gloves to fit perfectly and protect you optimally, you should measure your hand beforehand. It's very easy:
Step-by-step guide:
- What you need: A tape measure or a string and a ruler.
- Measure hand circumference: Measure the circumference of your dominant hand (i.e., the hand you work with) at the widest point across the knuckles – excluding the thumb.
- Read the measurement: Read the circumference in centimeters.
- Determine size: Use the following size chart:
| Hand Circumference (cm) |
Glove Size |
| 18 – 20 |
S (7) |
| 20 – 22 |
M (8) |
| 22 – 24 |
L (9) |
| 24 – 26 |
XL (10) |
| 26 – 28 |
XXL (11) |
Tip: Is your measurement between two sizes? For a tighter fit, choose the smaller size. For more freedom of movement, choose the larger size.
